Energy efficient ‘Fish House’ reflects nature through architecture

Sukhmani KaurJul 9 2010

Fish House at Sentosa Cove shows how the assimilation of water body to the architecture design of a house located along splendid seashore can make it one with nature. Designed by Guz Architects, water plays a key role in creating a visual connection between the house, pool and the vast sea, leading to the manmade structure’s flawless integration with the luxuriant blue and green surroundings. While the open area allows proper ventilation, the curved roof representing waves best reflects nature through architecture. In fact the roof of this eco-friendly house has been covered with bendable photovoltaic panels, which supply energy sufficient energy to this house.
