Created from woven recycled tires, the 9-foot tall and 1.3-ton elephant sculpture is touring Bozeman as part of its 2010 North American Tour. South African artist Andries Botha has sculpted the mammoth creature, dubbed as Nomkhubulwane (Project Nomkoo), with the aim to encourage similar environmental projects across the world. The sculpture will be standing in the front plaza of the Bozeman Public Library from August 5 through September 15.
