Electric guitar and scrap metal fashioned in deadly scorpion metal sculpture

‘Trash is treasure’ this is what eco-friendly designers seem to think while crafting fantastic figures out of waste. Artists are switching to greener options to make delicate pieces of art. Bringing into use green materials while making art forms fetches a lot of appreciation as well as shows how much an artist loves his environment.

An artist has made good use of broken electric guitar, springs and other found materials plus scrap metal which were disposed of thinking they have lived their life. These lifeless objects have been swapped into the shape of a scorpion in a skilful manner. The scorpion looks like a metal structure ready to sting whoever comes near it or tries to mess with it.

The main body of this scorpion sculpture has been fashioned using nothing but broken guitar that had been thrown away. If you look closely you will see that a circular saw blade, bicycle pump and a 1966 Buick A/C bracket has been used aesthetically to make the right arm. Coming to the right arm, it has been crafted from materials like tie rods and a bolt cutter which have been exploited in an artful manner.

The whole structure measures approximately 3 feet in height and weighs nearly 40 lbs. To bring the whole structure to life in an eco-friendly manner components like hand welded metal and wood sculpture created from brake pads, engine push rods, engine sprocket, spring from a chair, and on an average 6 pounds of nails have been use in a tasteful way.
