Earth's magnetic field weakening! It will 'In 2000 years' intensify solar radiation with no field to deflect it!

The Earth's magnetic field is gradually weakening. Is the Earth on track towards a polarity reversal?! The discovery has led experts to question on this. Data show the current decline in Earth's magnetism was virtually negligible before 1860. But, it is since then, the decline has accelerated.

With the present declining trend, the magnetic field could virtually disappear in about 2000 years! And if it does, we will be able to witness the Northern Lights all over the planet during the transition. The solar radiation at ground level will be much more intense, with no field to deflect it! Will this phenomenon lead to our disappearance from the earth's surface like our ancestors, who lived through quite a few of these transitions, did?
