Dubai is already a role model for the rest of the world for its eco-friendly transportation practices. Keeping up with the tradition, it is all set to go greener in introducing new buses equipped with highly developed Euro IV engines. The Roads & Transportation Authority (RTA) has just recently launched a modern fleet that uses advanced fuel having 50 PPM of sulfur content.

Well, the RTA’s move to promote public transportation is beneficial for the environment also. While it reduces the number of cars on the streets, the noise pollution and emissions also go down considerably. Just think about the interesting stats provided by Drive Arabia! A bus emits only 3,200 kg of CO2 per year when compared to a fleet of 40 cars guzzling 230,000 kg of CO2 per year.
