It is an established fact that one of the manifestations of global warming is drought. But, as a backfire, this natural phenomenon in turn exacerbates global warming. Australian scientists have concluded this from the findings that forests affected by drought do not absorb carbon dioxide as efficiently as they would under normal climatic conditions! Thus, this lead to more greenhouse gases being left in the atmosphere.
