Blurring the boundaries between minimalist sculpture, architecture and landscape through features like the outdoor fireplace and the planar language that defines the outdoor rooms, the Dominey Pavilion is a depiction of ingenuity. Hard coat stucco with galvanized bead edges, recycled concrete blocks, porous concrete slabs and recessed halogen lighting add to the green credentials. To enjoy the fire while sitting in the lap of nature, in the midst of the pavilion resides a fireplace with seating, forming a living room that’s open on three sides.
