Davis, the maker of home weather stations, eyes the prestigious Innovations Award at CES 2010 with the inclusion of a solar-powered wireless weather station. Dubbed as Vantage Vue, the weather station offers accurate data on wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and rainfall amounts. This data is wirelessly transmitted to the home base unit, and from here it can be redirected to your own personal weather site.

The great value weather station, including both base and instrumentation, retails at $395 only. Though it lacks the sophisticated moisture sensors, it’s still one of the best currently available.
