CyberCraft Robots converts found objects into amazing robot sculpture

Aditi JustaSep 1 2010

Designed by CyberCraft Robots, the “Cracked Hammond” is all about found objects. The 14 inches high robot sculpture incorporates everything from metal to glass to rubber to a tiny bit of plastic in itself. Holding a rocket in his hand, this piece of art features an 80-year-old Art Deco alarm clock made by the Hammond company in the middle.

The crystal is cracked and the clock is non-functional. Presently the clocks reads 9:09, but you are free to change its time to whatever you like. It is interesting and inspiring to see these seemingly mundane items being reassembled into the spectacular Robot.
