Cruiser Charisma will let you live off the electrical grid

Civic bodies of our cities often wonder why so many people do additions and remodeling of their houses without the proper permits. That would no more give them the night pangs if people lived off the grid - that socio-economic and techno-mundane grid crafted for every civilian all over the world. The Freeconomists have been trying to live on as little expenditure as possible. Autocracy of every human being, too, has a romantic fan following. Is that possible after all to live off all on your own? Why not? when the Amish, known for their simple living and reluctance to adopt many conveniences of modern technology available in those olden days could achieve that, why not others? But, would that not mean loosing on the goods provided by state-of-the-art technology of today? Jonas Loh says a very definitive no! He suggests a model of a holistic, sustainable culture, that would live off the grid.

Cruiser Charisma will not only let one live off the electrical grid, but every other system supplying us with everything from food to information.

It is model for a community, a caravan that lives without doing any bad to our nature and people are able to produce goods sufficient for themselves, communicate with anyone without being tapped. Yet, this new caravan could fulfill its basic needs without having to forego modern technological help. That would leave much of the natural resources untouched and to be used by the future generations. Loh's caravan would do what it wants to do on its own terms. Earthaven, an aspiring ecovillage in a mountain forest setting near Asheville, North Carolina and Amish have been the inspiration behind Loh's own caravan. He impressed people with the model he worked out for his project at the Royal College of Art.

He named it Cruiser Charisma that has both fantasy and charisma in it. Loh has dropped some really smart suggestions to nomadic module of illusive freedom. Just consider his suggestion : the inhabitants of this caravan or clan will be able to produce organic materials with the help of a 3D printing production unit, get synthetic protein rich meat that will be grown through a new generation of plants and produce energy from them. Communication would be based on Earth-Moon-Earth signals, a technique developed after World War II. The technology is not yet privatized, just mind that.

What Loh conceptualized coould be a widely accepted reality pretty soon. Scientific researches and technological adaptations are going on to make it possible. However, legal hurdles and implications too have to be taken care of before one could seriously think about it.
