Couple collects 400,000 recycling cans to foot their wedding bill

When we last talked about the Spokane’s in January they had only begun collecting trash aluminum cans to pay for their wedding. They were able to gather only 40,000 cans then. Nearly six months later and collecting on average one can about every 40 seconds, the Spokane’s can finally say `I do’ for the couple has managed to reach their goal. They have successfully collected 400,000 cans which would fetch them a total of $3,800 to foot their marriage bill. Stupid as it may sound but Andrea Parrish and Peter Geyer seem excited about the fact that many others would borrow the idea from them.
