With the advent of cellphones like Samsung Blue Earth, Sony Ericsson C901 GreenHeart, LG Pop GD510, Motorola W233 Renew and ZTE Coral 200 Solar, we are fast approaching an age where communication will reach newer, greener heights. Adding another sequel to the green string is Greek industrial designer Nelly Trakidou, who has conceived a mobile phone that never asks for an external power source to juice it up.

The concept mobile phone, dubbed as Colibri, relies on numerous nano-generators embedded into its fabrics for the much-needed succor. When you press its keys, the device generates sufficient electricity to power itself.
