Growing houseplants requires time, devotion, and a practical knowhow of the green endeavor. However, the high-tech planting system named Click & Grow allows you to go relaxed about your houseplants. What the planter demands is a connection to the computer via a USB cable, a plant cartridge with seeds, a water-filled tank, and a proper growth program. Certain sensors, processors and special software take care of the rest – be them watering, fertilizing, or other parameters affecting plant’s growth.

Instead of using soil as a growing medium, the system relies on aeroponics. Those who are content with the basic model may need to follow the notification lights and fill the water tanks manually, while others who are affluent enough to go for higher versions will see it done automatically. Expensive models collect water from air. The basic model is available for around 17 euro, with seed cartridges selling for around 4 euro.
