Creativity reaches better heights, when it is inspired strongly by a great source. You will agree with me, when you have a look at these beautiful Basil Chairs, the shape of which have been clearly inspired by the charming and extremely useful basil leaf. Conceptualized and designed by Milan-based Mr. Smith Studio, this range of colorful and functional chairs are exclusively created for celebrated Italian manufacturer Calligaris.

The strikingly distinct central rib of the chair does not only look splendid and unique, but serves a great structural purpose as well. This range of chairs were being introduced in the Milan Design Week 2011. These chairs are made of restilon, a fully recyclable thermoplastic polymer which has over 35 percent recycled materials. This particular composite was specifically chosen to give the chair a rigid exterior with a flexible core. The properties of this material was being put to use to achieve superior quality with the structure of the chair. The legs of the chairs are either wooden or metal.
Apart from being absolutely durable and extremely versatile, the chairs fit into any sophisticated living or dining room without much of an issue. Portability is yet another great benefit of this chair. To top it all, the chair is made from eco friendly material that makes it perfectly futuristic.
