Canadian artist creates wearable art from discarded stuff

You don’t need to be Picasso or da Vinci to create your own masterpieces. A modest ingenuity will do once you know how to go about it, even if you do not have all the means in the world to do so. The Eastern Ontario artist Emily MacLeod has been collecting materials, such as buttons, recycled leather and repurposed chain, which were otherwise destined for a landfill, and through her impeccable art, morphed them into bracelets and other pieces of functional art.
