Having already elevated the concept of ice sculpture (structure) to a greater height, the Hôtel de Glace or the Lac St-Joseph – crafted in 15,000 tons of snow and 500 tons of ice – continues to attract visitors for the 10th consecutive year. Located in Quebec, in Canada, the 3000m2 (32,000sq.ft), impermanent ice-structure with 36 rooms and suites can easily accommodate 88 people.

The hotel opens January 4 to April 4 every year and after that, it melts. Therefore, you are left with only 2 months to visit the transient space that flaunts an ice bar, art gallery, ice café, heated bathrooms, fireplaces and an enormous ice slide. Well, if you can spend CAN$219 for a night in this hotel, it could be the best ever experience of your life.
