Canada moves on to Kyoto-lite

Asia-Pacific Partnership on Clean Development and Climate, a voluntary effort, is running by U.S., Australia, China and India to deal with climate change. Environment Minister of Canada Rona Ambrose is now looking for the efforts made by these countries.

She said that the conservative government of Canada is on the way to join the Kyoto-lite approach to cutting global warming. Canada wants to outperform, she said. The charge made by opposition to the government that it failed to make climate change a top priority of governance.
