Can private sector help fix greenhouse pollution in the US?

Global warming needs immediate curbing! That is what is also felt by United States along with six of the world's biggest greenhouse gas polluters. Private industries can share a hand in curbing this disastrous phenomenon. But, how can they help in doing so? To find a reply to this, they, last week, gathered for the first time.

To effectively tackle climate change, this voluntary effort is perhaps the most practical way, i.e. for developing clean-energy technology. And so, the Bush administration is promoting it. But, as per the requirements imposed by the international Kyoto Protocol on global warming, it would not be as effective as thought! On the basis of this logic, an environmental expert dismissed it as busy-work.
