Artist Kevin Cyr simply masters the art of recycling. His creations go on to specify how habitats and housing, recycling and ecology, exploration and mobility can be fused together. Put on public display for Pignon Sur Rue at La Maison Folie de Wazemmes in Lille, France from April 2-June 6, 2010, both the Camper Bike and Camper Kart are created out of shopping carts. Where the Camper Bike – a functioning sculptural piece – uses a modified bike frame at its base, the Camper Kart is a pop-up camper.

The Camper Bike also touts an element of portability housed within a compact envelope. Hence, the movable camper can be moved from place to place. Inversely, the Camper Kart is deficient in mobility. Though it never means it is immobile, the mobility is still restricted somehow.
