Camelcide: While Aussies resort to guns, PETA keeps mum!

Desh Raj SharmaAug 10 2009

Soaring high on a $19 million AUD budget, the Australian government proposes to mass execute 650,000 camels. As the part of a strange cold-blooded resolution, it suggests to engage professional snipers to slay these dumb creatures. Ironically, the "pilots of the desert" will be piloted to death when gunners chase them on helicopters. Moreover, sidelining the options to relocate and employ birth control, the government is adamant on continuing with gunfire.

While you will shortly see multinationals selling camel burgers, PETA prefers not to say a word on it. Had there been remonstrations over the issue, it might have lofted PETA’s ethical concerns. Since the non-interventionist body (it is fast developing to be) has realized Pamplona as a lost game and nudity does not sell anymore, it is better to stay quiet on the awful camel slaughter.

PETA, do something to feed your altruistic whims before it's too late.
