According to the state of California, the cars of the six carmakers — General Motors, Toyota, Ford, Honda, Chrysler and Nissan - are emitting greenhouse gases to the extent that they are damaging health and environment, hence also the region’s economy.
As about one-third of California’s CO2 emissions come from traffic, the state of California is suing all these six carmakers for costs associated with their cars’ greenhouse gas emissions.
But, calling the suit a ‘nuisance’, the pan-industry body Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers has suggested it may be dismissed.

Before giving permit to the car dealers to manufacture car, proper studies and tests should be conducted. For years, these manufacturers have been producing cars without restriction from any organization or government, thats why they are free to produce cars even if it emits contaminants. These cars are widely used now and it will be so uneasy to control its manufacture.
The best solution for this is to support alternative fuels and a campaign for installing smoke reducer gadgets (like Tanabe Performance Parts) to vehicles.
