German designer Miriam Aust gives dwellers the opportunity to let green gardens walk into their living space, creating a beautiful environment. Her projects “Vase & Luchte” (vase & light) and “Wohnbeet” are a striking amalgamation of domestic objects and plant cultures. A series of three glass plant lights is what she calls Vase & Luchte, while furniture that integrates garden with seating is called the Wohnbeet.

The glass plant lights are made using a cylindrical glass vase, light fixture and plants. The stunning pieces that combine the functions of a ceiling lamp with a vase use natural roots of the living plants as decorative elements. The Wohnbeet is a piece of furniture that that accommodates plants in its armature, creating an attractive seating. Both of these eye-catching designs were recently exhibited at the "YoungDesignersFair," Interieur 2010 in Kortrijk, Belgium.
