Drunken drivers won’t ever listen to yelling cops and will continue risking lives (theirs and others) at will. Maybe, a visual or an installation that could plead them for some sense should do the trick (since instructions are for those who follow them). On a transit route, 26 km of the Minsk highway in Odintsovo, Russia, a giant installation – shaped like a bottle, and filled with warped, dismantled cars – aims to spread an awareness toward the ill effects of drunk driving on a car (and driver as well).

Russian consulting agency Zavod collaborated with the Russian Union of Auto Insurers to erect the 12-meter high installation, which weighs eight tons and contains scrap piles of those cars that were damaged in such drunken driving accidents. The unusual monument will continue to be in Odintsovo for the next two months. With a sibling erected in Israel already, the installation will inspire similar creations in other countries too.
