Standing proud on a site located in a consolidated sector of a rectangular grid in Barcelona, the architectural ensemble seeks to transform an area of 3.300 square meters into a new complex that will not allow the gasoline-powered vehicles to spoil the sustainable texture of the construction. Conceived by Thom M. Boessel, the BCN Sustainable Transport Center will have enough electric refueling stations to mark the arrival of electric vehicles.

While educating people on environmental sustainability issues, the sustainable transportation center will create a unique urban experience within an urban locale. The center will evolve to be a haven for the residents of the 24-hour city. Furthermore, an elevated public park with a cafe will guarantee a perfect place for business/informal meetings.
