14th Century Black Death plague may have triggered Europe's "Little Ice Age". And the Bubonic plague may have wiped out over a third of Europe's population, a new study suggests. According to BBC, the Great Plague skeletons were discovered from Spitalfields Market.

Soaking up carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, millions of trees sprang up on abandoned farmland. The idea is supported by pollen and leaf data. And this phenomenon would have had the effect of cooling the climate, a team from Utrecht University, Netherlands, says.
