Australian-based industrial designer Karl-Heinz McIntyre came up with a unique bike design for his project for Human-centered Design Innovation. Spawning from the designer’s research paper itself, the concept bike dubbed Bisickle looks into the socio-cultural aspects of commuter cycling and reflects the same through a thoughtful design. The commuter bicycle is made from recycled plastic and could accommodate quite a few commuters and luggage.

The concept bike will seek to remove socio-cultural barriers in the context of commuter cycling. An easy-build wheel and commuter handlebar design offers greater control in varying terrains. We definitely need to wait until the impressive bike comes out of its concept stage.
