Big Architects has recently come up with a conceptual spiraling tower complex that will have enough green spaces for visitors and residents as well. Named the Boscolo, the multi-functional public space will be a 22,000-square-meter complex that will merge nicely with the native mannerisms of Nice, in France.
When realized, the complex will house shops, restaurants and a spa at the ground, combined with abundant public plazas and parks. Hotel rooms, conference center and exhibition spaces on the higher levels will extend out on roof gardens and outdoor terraces for the visitors. Apartments with private terraces and collective gardens for the local residents are proposed for the site.
Four spiraling towers with roof gardens will unite to create floor plates and will merge in a single structure. Thus, they would create a series of gates, archways or passages.
