Sasank Gopinathan, BA product design (Curtin degree) student at Limkokwing University Malaysia, knows how important a part does a sustainable fabric play in designing eco-friendly products. He offers the BamBottle, a bamboo bottle that promises to be fully biodegradable once it has served its purpose. The reusable container can hold 550ml of water and you can use its protection cover as a mug.

Other components of BamBottle include a waterproof rubber shield and an anti-leak washer to ensure that liquids don’t trickle out of it as you carry it with you for excursions or use it at home. The non-circulars parts such as the base are made from high pressure molded bamboo fibers. Even the rubber and glue used to join the individual parts is eco-friendly.
