Over the years we have seen numerous bamboo creations from houses to vehicles to lighting to coffins. The ever-increasing popularity of the bamboo-based creations is due to one simple reason that bamboo is one of nature’s most sustainable resources. Going green seems to be the only way to go these days, and keeping to that trend, Japanese firm Atelier Bow-Wow has come up with a courtyard installation.

The firm founded by Yoshiharu Tsukamoto and Momoyo Kaijima in Tokyo in 1992 is showing its seven creations at the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo until August 8, 2010. Out of the seven is the "Bamboo Zoo" that features animals made from bamboo. It is quite interesting to see how creatively the elephant and giraffe made using bamboo stand.
