At the RWE headquarters, some informative art installations created by Jung von Matt/Elbe, Hamburg, garnered a huge response from the company employees. The unusually striking installation morphed energy outlets into colorful fountains that indicated energy wastage. The new energy-efficiency portal of RWE was inscribed on the artworks that were pitched from the foyer up to the executive floor.
This is what the company has to say about it:
A company that tries to inspire people to save energy should start by raising the awareness of its own staff. But instead of using dry-as-dust lectures or internal mailings, unusual measures should be taken. That’s why we made the waste of energy visible. We chose place where no employee could avoid it: The RWE Headquarters.
