LA-based Griffin Enright Architects seek a LEED certified silver rating for their newly-designed mixed-use development for the beautiful city of Venice, California that will contain several living units, offices, a new church and retail spaces. Profuse use of solar energy generators, roof garden and its green construction involving use of recycled and renewable building materials are likely to win it the coveted certification. Moreover, architects will try to reduce the building’s energy demands by integrating energy-efficient lighting, HVAC systems, natural ventilation and natural day lighting.

The respective units, described above, will unite with residential parking areas through a landscaped pedestrian walkway. Thus, the walkway will serve as an interaction point for seemingly diverse workspaces.
