It's a trend these days to use recycled eco friendly materials to produce creative designs. Creative designers can convert anything they put hands on into an amazing piece of art work. Cory Barkman is one of those creative people who saves objects from the trash and gives a completely new avatar resulting in some impressive lamps.

Cory Barkman has come out with a new line of lamps are made mostly from repurposed materials.

Cory Barkman designs these antique looking lamps that are exclusively made from the recycled junk parts. These junk parts would easily blend and give this crusty antique look. Cory uses the old valves and gauges from the junk yard to create a Steampunk look. The valves and gauges not only give a fancy look but they also work. They serve as switches, dimmers and gauges and can be used for time or temperature display.

It's up to one's creativity to use the trash objects to create useful objects. Some of the most interesting piece of designs are born out of necessity than creativity. Not everyone can buy real classic antique lamps but instead can design their own version of old rustic looking lamps like Cory did.
