Be it smog, acid rain or CFC's, air pollution or ozone depletion in the stratosphere, air pollution has long been threatening both human health as well as the ecosystems of our planet.

Though one can have an excuse of survival by exploiting his surrounding resources, what are we leaving for our future generations? - A dirty, unhealthy and vulnerable environment, only to live and die sick?
So, all's in our hand to chose if we dream of a cleaner, healthier, more sustainable environment for our coming generations - in a bid to build a better world for both us and our coming generations, the top environmental officials of Canada, Mexico and the United States are planning for a new 'collaborative environmental initiatives'.
Cuing up on these lines of concerns, the three countries have introduced an interactive Google Earth mapping tool to track air pollution in North America.
The new interactive tool can create a picture of industrial pollutant data across North America and allows -- for the first time -- access to the pollution profile of reporting industries both across the continent as well as in their community.
It will also expand public access to information on the pollution state of the air they are breathing in. The air quality data will be harmonized between the three countries, strengthening Mexico's ability to monitor and report pollutants.
The Commission for Environmental Cooperation - the 3-party organization has been created for addressing regional environmental concerns. It is a part of the North American Free Trade Agreement, NAFTA.
You can now access pollutants-information created by the interactive Google Earth mapping tool of the Commission for Environmental Cooperation here...
