With the improvement in technology and architecture, many interesting and pioneering house designs have come into limelight in the past. But, what I bring to you this time is something extraordinary… something that will take innovation to a different level altogether. Here is a house that rotates to follow the sun so that more than usual light enters the rooms. Placed on a turntable, the structure is a home to Luke and Debbie Everingham of Wingham, New South Wales.

The ingeniously designed house is octagonal in shape offering more space than usual while the central core of plumbings and electrical fittings allows it to rotate. This unique rotating mechanism takes help of two small electric engines for the power requirement and a touch-screen panel in the living area is used to control it. The couple has spent a whooping £400,000 to design and construct their beautiful rotating house built on 24-meter diameter with 360-degree verandah. I would love to own a house like this one. How about you?
