1000 beer bottles repurposed to make apparently 'green' Christmas tree

Appearances are often deceptive, says an axiom of practical wisdom. And this time, it’s exactly the case with the Christmas tree made from more than 1,000 beer bottles. The venue is the famous Nanjing Road in Shanghai, China, where Heineken bottles have been repurposed to deceive the green-minded observers. Rumor has it that the tree looks green, but it isn’t actually since no recycling was involved in bringing it together.
